Ordering

Placing and managing appraisal orders.

How do I place an order?
You can place an order online through our order portal in just a few minutes, or speak with our team about volume and recurring orders. We'll confirm scope, coverage and turn time before any work begins.
What information do you need to get started?
The property address, a contact to arrange access, the report type you need, and your required due date. If it's a specialized assignment, a few extra details help us assign the right appraiser.
How fast are your turn times?
Desktop products are typically delivered within four hours. Full appraisals are completed within tight, clearly defined SLAs that we agree to up front and consistently meet.

Coverage & products

Where we work and what we deliver.

Where do you provide coverage?
We're active across 200+ communities in Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia, with approved-lender status from major Canadian banks and credit unions.
What products do you offer?
A complete suite: traditional appraisals, accelerated products, and specialized consulting for complex assignments.
Are your reports lender-compliant?
Yes. Every report meets, and routinely exceeds, the standards required by lenders, regulators and professional bodies across Canada, prepared by accredited appraisers.

Working with us

Tracking, revisions and billing.

Can I track the status of my order?
Yes. A dedicated team manages your orders from intake through delivery, with proactive status updates so you're never left guessing.
How are revisions handled?
Submit a revision request to your account team and we'll coordinate it directly with the appraiser and AMC, handled proactively, not reactively.
How does billing work?
Billing is arranged to suit your business, per engagement or consolidated statements for high-volume clients. Talk to our team to set up terms.

For appraisers

Joining and working with our platform.

How do I join Accurity as an appraiser?
Visit our Appraisers page to see how the model works, or browse open roles on Careers and send an application.
What is MethodApp?
MethodApp is our proprietary software for end-to-end appraisal automation, carrying a file from the moment an order comes in through inspection to delivery, so appraisers spend their time on valuation, not administration.

The inspection

What to expect during the site visit, and how your information is handled.

Why are photographs taken of every room?
Photographs document the property's condition, layout, finishes and any features that affect value. They support the appraiser's analysis and form part of the report's evidence. Most Canadian lenders require interior photos of all rooms.
Is the person visiting the appraiser who signs the report?
Any person that inspects the property with Accurity Canada is an appraiser. As is typical within the industry, a Candidate Appraiser usually completes the inspection and their name and the work they completed is included in the report. The Designated Appraiser is the signing authority and takes responsibility for the report. In some instances of a complex assignment or unique property, the Designated Appraiser may attend the inspection.
Is AI or automated valuation involved?
The value conclusion is always made by a designated appraiser who reviews the evidence and signs the report. Our MethodApp platform handles administration such as scheduling, data entry and report assembly. Automation or AI models are utilized in these processes. No confidential information including the application name or photos of the property are shared with any 3rd party AI service.
Where are photographs and inspection data stored? Are they stored outside Canada?
As dictated by the Appraisal Institute of Canada (AIC), we are required to maintain working files for every assignment for 7 years. This includes photographs of the property. We utilize cloud storage with servers located within Canada. Data is encrypted during transfer.
